As it is a well-known fact that sustainable institutions are crucial to sustainable development processes, practically every project of AAIE/ SRC&IT has an organizational development component. While some projects apply a learning by doing approach, others ask for specific lessons learnt support, one-to-one support for specialists and executive staff, or team development processes. In rural development, organizational development is very often an end in itself. An important part of our work is to support governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in decentralization and democratization processes.
