AAIE Albania, partner of the ”PAL Network for Support of Roma Entrepreneurship” Erasmus + KA2 project, co-funded by the European Union, participated in the entrepreneurship development seminar (C1) organized in Mestre, Venice, Italy, from 5 to 9 of November.
During the seminar a detailed presentation of all the tools and material developed during the project and are necessary for the executives providing services in the field of entrepreneurship took place.
All material presented through the 13 lessons developed by the project partners and is related to the following: what is entrepreneurship, types of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, business choices, market research and networking, feasibility study: business activities, three (3) types of expenditure and method of calculating unit costs, sales price and sales revenue, reality of entrepreneurship, marketing and business brand, financial management, management risks, search for community resources, internet marketing, communication and interaction, business plan & creativity.
AAIE Albania was part of preparation of two courses: search for community resources and communication and interaction. The other partners presented their own lessons and then there was time for answering questions of the participants.
The seminar was attended by about 20 Roma mediators, Roma specialists, and Partner executives from the 8 partner countries (Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Bulgaria, Greece & Croatia).
On the fourth day, a round table was held on entitled “how to promote entrepreneurship in the Roma target group”, where officials from Venice’s local authorities and organizations expressed their opinion on Roma life in the region, informed the participants about the problems they face and the awareness-raising actions towards the wider community.
On the last day of the seminar, a fruitful and constructive dialogue was developed among the participants, and after all the parameters of the Roma working conditions were explored, common practices were agreed to normalize the situation and strengthen the position of the Roma in the field of “business” .
At the same time, the 3rd Transnational Meeting of the project partners took place on November 7-8. During the meeting the progress of the project was analyzed, the obligations of each partner were discussed, the dates of the online entrepreneurship courses were determined and the actions for the Roma Entrepreneurship Camps were scheduled to be held next April.
